Bank manager, security guard killed in Bihar

A local bank's manager and a security guard of a public sector bank were shot dead by unidentified assailants who looted Rs.5 lakh in two incidents in Bihar Wednesday, police said.

Vishwanath Ram, manager of Gramin Bank, was shot dead near Dariyapur in Saran district, about 80 km from state capital Patna.

In the other incident, a security guard of the Central Bank, was shot dead in Sitamarhi district, about 150 km from here, by assailants who looted Rs.500,000 from the bank, a police officer said.
