Four Indian women boxers in finals of Asian Indoor Games

M.C. Mary Kom led the charge of four Indian boxers into the finals of the Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam Monday.
Four time World Champion Mary Kom lived up to her reputation as she defeated Josie Gabuco of the Philippines 7-3 in the semi-finals of the 46 kg category. She will meet Hoa Nguyi Thi of Vietnam in the finals Wednesday.
Sarita Devi outclassed local favourite Lien Doan Thi 25-3 pts in the 54 kg category. She will take on Qin Zhang of China in the finals.
N. Usha, in the 57 kg category, overcame another Vietnamese opponent Chung Ngo Thi 3-2. Usha meets Peamwilai Laopeam of Thailand next.
Kavita Goyat is already in the finals of the 64 kgs category where she meets Khassenova Saida of Kazakhstan.
In the 51 kg category, Chhoto Loura lost 0-6 to World Championship silver medallist Annie Albania of the Philippines. Email this story to a friend
