Kannan directing Tamil remake of 'Jab We Met'

Shooting of the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit 'Jab We Met', being directed by Mani Ratnam's protege Kannan, has begun in the city.
The shooting began Wednesday in a temple attached to the massive AVM studios in the southwest suburbs here.
The original film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is being remade in Tamil jointly by Moser Baer and Blue Ocean Entertainment. It stars Bharat and Tamannaah.
The Tamil version has been scripted by Pattukkottai Prabhakar.
Mani Ratnam was among several directors present during the launch. The shooting schedule is expected to last 35 days. Composer Vidyasagar is scoring the music, a press statement from Moser Baer said. Email this story to a friend
