New Delhi News.Net Tuesday 8th July, 2008 (IANS)
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday urged people to 'sink their differences' and prepapre for the state's 50th foundation day celebrations due in 2010.
'Year 2010 will be the proud moment of a Golden Gujarat. I call upon the people of the state to sink their differences and celebrate the occasion in a befitting manner as it relates to self-esteem, glory and strength of Gujarat,' he said after the 'golden Gujarat pledge torchlight' reached Bhiloda of Sabarkantha district.
As a crowd watched a chariot arriving with the flame, Modi called it a 'flame of determination and resolve'.
