New Delhi News.Net
Tuesday 10th June, 2008 (IANS)

A woman from Fiji died at a hospital here Monday evening after fainting and the police were investigating the cause of her sudden death.

Rosy Sharma was living in Chandigarh with her husband Pardeep Sharma since their marriage in February 2004.

'She fainted in the afternoon, possibly due to some illness. She was immediately shifted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Research. She died there in the evening,' Sukhdev Bhullar, station house officer of the sector-19 police station, told IANS.

'I cannot comment if the death was natural or not as the post-mortem examination is pending,' he said.

'Her passport has been recovered and we have found that she was a Fijian citizen,' said Bhullar.

Fijian woman dies in Chandigarh

Hello my name is kylie sharma and i reside in Australia. The person that died is my sister in law rosy sharma as i am married to her husbands brother ( manish sharma ), who also lives in australia, due to me as he used me for the citizenship then left me and my daughter. I knew rosy for a period of 6 years, in that 6 years rosy was always a happy go lucky, optimistic, and had a bright and bubbly personality. Rosy had been living in sydney from the last 8 years as she was born in fiji and then transported to australia where she met her husband. She used to telephone me on many occassions crying to me that her husband had beat her again and again. He also used to beat the children also, as i witnessed. He was always having affairs outside and rosy became aware of them. Her husband Pradeep Sharma also frauded many bank cards while he was living in australia owing money to everyone and ripping people off. This man gave rosy a very hard time always abusing her taking money off her and hitting her constantly. He also nearly killed her in sydney too he beat her so bad she was unconscious.Their conditon of living that they were in was so appalling they had no furniture in the house. My husband was also the same so i know what rosy had to put up with and what type of family they were. My husband brought his parents out from india for 3 months and they stayed with us. they also gave me a very hard time everyday, always asking for money, and also my mother in law tried to kill me by poisoning me but i was lucky because my parents live nearby so i stayed with them until it was safe to go back as the inlaws were ready to leave to go back to india.I can honestly say that it was my bad luck that i struck such a rotten dirty family but as a result i did not die out of it but poor rosy did, because i can honestly say that there is no way in the world rosy could of ever took her own life, but my inlaws definalty took hers. As my mother in law only wants rich girls for her sons so she can collect all the dowry and then kill them one by one. My husband left me and my daughter as he only used me too for the citizenship. This family is undescribable and i think this case needs to overlooked somehow. As they knew they could get away with her death because rosy had no relatives there in india to protect her or help her, and also the father in law is an ex police man so perhaps he paid money to get them off the hook. If you have any further information that u require please contact me on 02 66622945, or email: riya4hi5@yahoo.com
I would like this case to be overlooked somehow. Thankyou
