New Delhi News.Net Tuesday 10th June, 2008
A woman from Fiji died at a hospital here Monday evening after fainting and the police were investigating the cause of her sudden death.
Rosy Sharma was living in Chandigarh with her husband Pardeep Sharma since their marriage in February 2004.
'She fainted in the afternoon, possibly due to some illness. She was immediately shifted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Research. She died there in the evening,' Sukhdev Bhullar, station house officer of the sector-19 police station, told IANS.
'I cannot comment if the death was natural or not as the post-mortem examination is pending,' he said.
'Her passport has been recovered and we have found that she was a Fijian citizen,' said Bhullar.
